- Regularly monitor your templates, preferably on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.
- Updated benchmarks and guidelines:
- Templates used 100 times or more per day: These templates should be dynamic, consisting of 2 to 5 parts with at least 7 variations for each part. It's better to have more variations for higher usage. Aim for a delivery rate of 90% or higher, with a target of 95%+.
- Templates used between 35 and 100 times per day: If you notice low delivery rates for these templates, consider making them dynamic. They should have 2 or 3 parts with at least 5 variations for each part. Aim for a delivery rate of 95% or higher, and strive for 98%+ for lower usage volumes.
- Templates used 35 times or fewer per day: These templates should consistently achieve a delivery rate of 99% or higher. If the delivery rate drops below that, make manual adjustments or consider making them dynamic.
- Custom responses (also referred to as unknowns on the report): Aim for a delivery rate of 99% or higher. If the rate is lower, it indicates the need to modify the wording when sending custom responses. However, it's normal for these responses to have a slightly lower delivery rate on rare occasions.
- Overall, strive for a delivery rate of 90% or higher for all templates. Our recommended target is a 95% overall delivery rate.
