Billing is month-to-month through ChargeOver. No long-term contracts, no hidden fees. Here’s how everything works so you’re never surprised by an invoice.
Billing Basics
Billing cycle — Monthly. Your invoice generates on the same date each month based on your subscription start date.
Payment method — Credit card with auto-charge. See our “How to Add a Payment Card” article for setup instructions.
Invoices — Generated monthly and accessible through your ChargeOver billing portal. You’ll receive email notifications when invoices are created.
Contracts — None. Month-to-month. You stay because the data works, not because of a cancellation penalty.
Understanding Your MRR
MRR stands for Monthly Recurring Revenue — it’s your monthly subscription cost. Your MRR is the sum of your base county subscriptions plus any add-on services.
Common line items you might see:
County subscriptions — Your core data access, priced per county per month. Each county is a limited seat (see “How the Seat Model Works”).
8020Scale — Optional add-on for scaled marketing campaigns.
Sticker Value — Optional add-on for enhanced property valuation data.
Direct DataMail — Optional add-on for direct mail fulfillment via DM Force (includes tracking and skip tracing at $0.08/hit).
What Happens if a Payment Fails
Important: If your payment fails, your account stays active during a grace period. However, fulfillment may be paused until payment is resolved. Update your payment method promptly to avoid any interruption in data delivery.
If you’re overdue, your CSM will reach out to help resolve the issue. This isn’t collections — it’s making sure you don’t lose access to data that’s actively driving your marketing.
Making Changes to Your Plan
All plan changes go through your CSM:
Adding counties — Subject to seat availability. Your CSM checks and processes the change, effective on your next billing cycle.
Removing counties — Effective at the end of your current billing period. Your seat is released when the change takes effect.
Adding/removing add-ons — Contact your CSM. Add-ons (8020Scale, Sticker Value, Direct DataMail) can typically be adjusted mid-cycle.
Cancellation — See our Service Cancellation Policy article for the full process.
Pausing — See our Service Pause Policy article for eligibility and terms.
Can I get a refund for a partial month?
Billing is for the full monthly period. Changes take effect at the end of your current cycle. Reach out to your CSM if you have an unusual situation.
Where do I update my credit card?
Through your ChargeOver billing portal. See the “How to Add a Payment Card” article for step-by-step instructions, or ask your CSM for the direct link.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. Your invoice shows county subscriptions and any add-ons you’ve opted into. That’s it. Skip tracing through the platform is $0.08 per hit — roughly half the industry rate.
