"Per hit" means you are charged only for records that return at least one data point. No match, no charge. At $0.08 per hit, this is significantly below the industry average of $0.15+.

How to Submit Your Request

  1. Prepare your list
    Use the Skip Trace Export Configuration within your 8020REI account to generate a properly formatted file. Alternatively, create a list manually using our Skip Trace Templates.
  2. Submit the request
    Submit the request to our Support Team by clicking HERE. Upload your file and confirm the submission.
  3. Receive results
    Processing typically completes within 24-48 hours. You will receive an email notification when your results are ready. Download the enriched file from the same Skip Trace section.

What You Get Back

Each matched record returns:

  • Up to 7 phone numbers — direct lines ranked by confidence score
  • Up to 5 relatives — each with up to 5 phone numbers (useful for absentee owners)
  • Matched Name — verified owner name tied to the property
  • Deceased flag — avoid contacting deceased property owners
  • Up to 2 email addresses — for multi-channel outreach
  • Golden Address — the most current mailing address from our data sources

Best Practices

  • Focus on high-value records. Skip trace properties with 3+ distress points or scores above 71 for the best return on investment.
  • Update regularly. Phone numbers go stale. Re-skip properties you are actively marketing to every 1 year. Numbers older than 2 years are highly probable to yield wrong numbers.
  • Use the Golden Address for direct mail. It is often more current than the mailing address on file.
  • Call top numbers first. Numbers are ranked by likelihood of reaching the owner. Start with #1 and work down.
