When to apply a DNC tag

  • Property owner has requested no further contact

Bulk DNC import (CSV)

  1. Prepare a CSV file with at minimum the property address and a DNC column (value: "Yes" or "TRUE")
  2. Navigate to Import in the platform
  3. Upload the CSV and map the DNC column to the DNC field
  4. Confirm the import — matched properties are tagged immediately

Single property DNC

Open the property record in 8020REI, locate the DNC field, and set it to active. The property is excluded from future campaign delivery immediately.

What DNC does

  • Excludes the property from all outreach channels — SMS, calls, direct mail
  • Persists across list refreshes and monthly deliveries
  • Can be reversed if the tag was applied in error

Can I remove a DNC tag?

Yes. Update the property record or re-import with the DNC column set to "No" or "FALSE". Verify the change took effect before including the property in campaigns.
