Pre-Import Checklist
1. Confirm Address Fields
Ensure both Property Address and Mailing Address are present in the file.
Important: If you mistakenly import the Mailing Address as the Property Address, you may end up targeting the wrong location.
2. Golden Address (If Available)
Some skip trace vendors provide a "Golden Address"—a more reliable or recently updated address.
If available, make sure to import this address into your system.
3. Bankruptcy Data
If your file includes bankruptcy information, format the data as follows:
Replace all "Y" (Yes) with
1
Replace all "N" (No) with
0
4. Deceased Status
If your vendor includes deceased flags, do the following:
Rename the column to:
Estate
Replace all "Y" with
1
Replace all "N" with

5. Age Data / Senior Status
